Research-based Laboratory for musicians and dancers led by Marisa Grande | From Physicality to Musicality

First weekend 23-24 November 2019 11:00-18:00

The practice initiates from tuning into the body and focusing on a physical anatomical aspect and its expression. Looking and exploring the Mind within the body, musicians will transfer the experience in the approach with their instrument as well as dancers will articulate movement from the specific embodiment. From this ground the work develops in sensing and engaging into the musicality for both musicians and dancers: exploring how they both meet on this ground and how they both inform and learn from each other.

What is the presence that arises? What is the material? How does it articulate? How the two languages of music and dance understand musicality and embody it? The framework is instant composition, so both musicians and dancers are required to improvise and cultivate their compositional mind.

If you are interested write an email with your motivation and short background to marisa.wizard@gmail.com

Make & Mix – Open ruimte voor Planetenbouwers

Planet 350 in the solar system is waiting for us. Together we gonna create our new world. We rethink EVERYTHING! and create new places to learn from each other, to live, to communicate…

We need a bunch of bright-eyed and bushy-tailed PlanetBuilders! Make&Mix has now open space for everyone who wants to play, be creative, be crazy, to daydream, to create together or just to be.

Every Wednesday at 15:00 (till 17:00) you are welcome in the Laboratory for Movement gymnastics hall of the old Ireneschool in Wageningen. We can’t wait to see you there!

Age doesn’t matter and language neither.

We fund our open space following the pay-what-you-want principle.

Sign up now or ask a question: Call 0633821755 (Chiara Bockstahler) or write an email to chiarabockstahler@gmail.com

*MAKE art&Mix kids is an Artlab where kids from Wageningen come together with kids living at the AZC in Wageningen. Together we transform ideas into artworks. Preferably a big, crazy, wild and strange as possible. Originally this concept was invented together with the Makefactory.
