Erik Woltmeijer (musician/composer)

He is musical director and composer of Theatre Company Waterlanders.
This group specializes in site-specific theatre, which is developed and performed in connection with its location- be it an abandoned building, a forest or a beach. Music and sound play a central role in the performances.

Erik is responsible for the music composition, embedding sound, and live performance on different instruments. Waterlanders have performed for a variety of national and international festivals, municipalities, museums and other clients, and also develops autonomous productions.

As a musician Erik participated in several other projects, including as musician for contemporary dance performances, doing music workshops with refugees and making compositions for film and animation.
